Citizen Café Hebrew Language and Culture School is looking for its new Head of Marketing to join our fast-growing team of talented dynamic and passionate Tel Avivans trying to hack, adapt and present the Israeli genetic code through language and culture.

Citizen Café is Tel Aviv’s leading language and culture school. For us, language is a reflection of the culture, the essence, the energy, the way people look at the world. Our renowned methodology and class experience leave aside the unnecessary theory that is taught in traditional language schools and enable students to speak with confidence like a local.

With a community of thousands of students locally and around the world; from entrepreneurs, diplomats, artists, professionals and some of the leading companies in the world, this role will help continuously grow and lead our brand awareness, new marketing initiatives and partnerships.  

The ideal candidate will report to the CEO and bring strategic vision and innovative approaches with a  passion for building high-performing campaigns, data, and digital transformation, while owning every stage of growth marketing: strategy, planning, execution, budgeting, analysis, optimization and business relationships and partnerships to support it (BizDev).

Success in this position requires leadership, experience managing full-funnel marketing initiatives, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

 

*This is an in-house position. Our office is located in the heart of Rothschild blvd in Tel-Aviv in the beautiful Mindspace co-working building.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the growth marketing strategy for Citizen Cafe, including market segmentation and targeting, content, digital channels, partnerships, etc.
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.
  • Lead social media efforts and constantly work to enhance our brand presence with quality content and creative campaigns.
  • Define marketing KPI’s, track them on a daily basis and suggest changes if needed.
  • Daily management of the marketing team.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to define and lead growth initiatives that drive acquisition, expansion, retention, and referrals.
  • Develop an effective email marketing strategy.
  • Create business relationships and collaboration with related businesses/organizations locally and internationally.
  • Working on-site from our Rothschild Blvd office.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience.
  • In Depth understanding of the evolving digital marketing landscape.
  • Proven track record of working at the strategic and tactical level to develop multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience at a global and local level to allow for scale and consistency.
  • Highly data-driven marketer with a proven track record of delivering programs that help achieve overall company goals.
  • Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Experience and understanding of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, Hubspot, and other key web technology and analytics tools/platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to compile and analyze campaign data to inform decisions. 
  • Experience with SEO skills and tools, understand Google requirements for website optimization.
  • Native English speaker a MUST.
  • Excellent Hebrew big advantage.
